The main attraction to Formentera island is its tranquility and the fact it is completely unspoiled. It has a population of about seven thousand. It is the nearest place to heaven on earth. Quite simply gorgeous. Many people have long know about the secret hideaway that is Formentera and some would argue a few too many people know about it’s pleasures in August a month when I would recommend that you stay away from this small Island. June and September and some of the best months to visit.
Formentera is only a stone throw away from Ibiza, but the white beaches and the turquoise sea give you this relaxed magic Caribbean feeling. It’s like being in another world. A world where you can get away from the madness that can sometimes consume Ibiza.
